Q 9. Will you be doing rhinestone parties? A Rhinestone Party!?! Wow that sounds like a TON OF FUN!!! I’ve never hosted one but I sure would be willing to try!! Just bring it on! Lol Q 10. Will your store be acting as a reseller for your students or customer projects? I gotta BEAD is 1,860 Square feet of beads and happiness. We will definitely have room for our customers to display and sell some of their items if they want. We will have consignment areas in the store where our teachers and local jewelry artisans can sell their pieces. Q 4. Will you have any special outreach programs for the elderly or retired beginners? I gotta BEAD also plans to reach out to the retired members of the community by teaching free classes to some of the assisted living establishments and retirement homes in the area. Q 5. Are you planning to sell supplies online from your store? Through your own website or by using one of the various marketplaces. To start, I gotta BEAD will not have an on-line store. This is in the plans for our third year of business. BUT, always feel free to give us a call at the store 903-509-2324 if you are a “outof-towner”, and we will gladly ship you anything that we have in the store!! Q 6. Will you be doing fund raisers for local charities? Which ones? I gotta BEAD would LOVE to do fund raisers for any of our local charities! I will have to do a little research on this but I do know they have fund raisers for the local animal shelters and some of the local churches. As Alli and I are HUGE animal lovers, we will definitely help the animal shelters in any way we can. We would also gladly donate finished pieces for any of the auctions they have to raise money for such events. Q 7. Is your store bi-lingual (English/Spanish? What are your hours of operation? Our store is not bi-lingual, but we are very open to a Spanish speaking employee if the need arises. We will be open Tuesday thru Thursday 10am – 6pm, Friday thru Saturday 9am – 7pm. Closed Sunday and Monday except when we have guest teachers in or for special jewelry parties. Q 8. Are you going to offer any less traditional services/ products like smelting gold or silver from used jewelry for customers? Will you be making lampwork beads for customers? As owners, we are open to any type of jewelry making as long as we can find a trained teacher who is willing to come to Tyler to teach OR Alli and I would love to teach the less traditional jewelry making styles when we can get the formal training required. As for Lampwork – we do not teach lampwork ourselves, but one of our good friends in Dallas does and is more than willing to come teach classes for us. We also carry her lampwork in the store for sale. 12| October-November | RitzyToo! | RitzyToo.com Q 11. Do you have a marketing slogan? Yes, it’s: I gotta BEAD . . . where you can BEAD Happy!! I would like to tell everyone that I gotta BEAD will focus on its’ service and relationship with its customers. We are founded on the idea that maintaining satisfied and happy customers is essential. Our store will be a place where jewelry artist meet, learn, and share ideas. The atmosphere is pleasant, friendly and comfortable and will inspire any jewelry artists from beginners and amateurs all the way up to the professionals. I gotta BEAD will facilitate, organize and offer creative workshops and classes in a variety of techniques and media for ALL skill levels. Our classes will be announced on our website, face book and twitter. And for those of you who don’t want to take a class – well, we also offer a free beading area where you can come and just sit and bead with us.
