Cherry Hazelnut Snowball Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup LandoLakes Margarine, softened
1 cup 10x Sugar – plus extra for dusting
2 cups sifted all purpose flour, sifted
¼ tsp salt
1 8 oz. Jar Maraschino Cherries, drained and chopped
½ cup toasted Hazelnuts, finely chopped (or substitute with nut of
choice, pecans are good)
½ tsp vanilla extract
Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add flour and salt; blend thoroughly
Stir in cherries, nuts and vanilla extract
Chill overnight or a minimum of 6 hours
Shape chilled dough into small balls and place on ungreased baking
sheets
Bake in a 275 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until cookies are lightly
browned
Remove from the baking sheets and cool on a rack. When cool, dust
with powdered sugar.
