It is quite thick, the ends don’t fall apart easily. However, you’ll need to tighten the edges of the ribbon, sewing them to the outline of the earrings to the felt. Since the length of the ribbon is wide enough, you can create some wonderful and different types of waves and folds in the centre of the earring! First off, we need to tighten a few stitches at the upper edge of the earring (gathering the ribbon into a bun) (Picture 13) In the next step, we tighten the ribbon along the edges of the earring by making small stitches (sort of catching them on).
