As we’re going up diagonally, reaching into the top row’s bead, and piercing into the almost
formed rim of Rivoli (Picture 8), we sew beads through every other one, and the next row we
repeat the same way as was done below - with small gold beads (#15), tightening the row a bit
in the process (no need to pass the needle through them later on!). That’s it, Rivoli has been
safely secured!

Moving on to the tape! The shape of these earrings is relatively easy to create - it resembles a
leaf, which I’ve cut out as a template from the tracing paper. I placed it to the hard surface of the
felt , contoured lightly with a pencil and created two pieces (Picture 10)
