I live in Bangkok, Thailand. Well, I can’t remember
exactly how long I’ve been beading, but it should be
around 7-8 years now. My mum did all kinds of crafts
many years before me including beading and I believe
I got some of her skills. We’re both self taught, but I
don’t deny that she taught me some beading and it was
a good start. I still have a lot to learn and improve my
skills.
Oh and you can use my name or BeeJang. I’ve known in
beading world as BeeJang. My first name is Piratchada
and last name is Thongra-ar. Most Thai people don’t
mind to be called by nick name since most of our names
are long, difficult to remember and pronounce by foreigners.
Marilou Porth has been beading since making a shoebox
loom in Campfire girls. She is active in local bead societies and teaches occasionally.”I am thrilled and amazed at
the friends I have made because of beads!”
