Nina Kersten
Nina has spent the last thirty odd years as a stitcher of one sort or another and over the years her needlework evolved from crochet to
cross-stitch and finally to beading. A certified kitchen designer by trade, Nina is a bead artist by passion.
Introduced to beading by her oldest daughter in 2003, Nina soon discovered its therapeutic properties. She was able to bring her
expertise in other mediums to her beadwork in order to design exquisite wearable art.
In 2007 she moved from Alaska to Arizona to become co-owner of Sonoran Beads with her sister Nora and brother-in-law John and in
2013 they had the opportunity to acquire SilverSilk & More, the national distributorship of SilverSilk™ products.
