Susan has been making jewelry as a designer, teacher, and artisan for 12 years. She is co-owner of a bead
store with her sister in Garden Ridge, TX, where her
material of choice is wire, although she loves metals
and bead embroidery as well. They offer a wide variety
of classes, and Susan has honed her skills by teaching wire classes where students learn the importance
of attention to detail and craftsmanship while exploring
their own natural creativity. Her inspiration comes from
various places-colors from nature and form from fabric
patters, scroll work and architecture.
