Festival
Look
It’s that time of year again, time for you to grab your wellies and head to a festival or
several if you’re like me and thrive off music and people-filled environments. I am
going to be showing you a version of a festival look, which you can recreate if you
choose too.
Firstly I prime my face with total moisture facial cream by benefit, then
I apply my primed and ready primer in the shade apricot by collection,
next I use my pro-base prime and conceal correcting cream in green by
MUA, I then follow with Bourjois’ 1,2,3 perfect foundation in the shade
52 vanilla, using cover and conceal by MUA in the shade fair I mark
out triangles under my eyes and continue to apply the product over
blemishes and spots I then blend out with a beauty blender. To set the
previous products I use healthy balance power by Bourjois in the shade
52 vanilla.
This is a pretty heavy face base as
when around lots of people and in
confined environments you tend to
sweat a lot, meaning your make-up
will most likely start sliding off your
face, using the correct products and
setting correctly ensures you will be
festival glam from start to finish.
Using my eyebrow kit by revolution I take an angled brush and start to
fill in my brows, my brows are a lot darker than my hair and are almost
black, so I use the kit featuring the shades medium to dark specially for
brunettes I believe, this palette does also come in a lighter shades for
blondes, but it is so good for money and I highly recommend it.
Now for eyes, I am using the silent disco palette by MUA, this palette includes
a range of highly pigmented, bright colours, perfect for the festival season and
at £4 can you go wrong, I had two ideas for eye looks in this section
so decided to share both with you. My first suggestion would be
creating a look which involves a whole spectrum of colour, blended
to create rainbow eyes, my second suggestion involves picking
two colours from the palette and mixing them together obviously
colours that match some ideas I have include pink and purple and
yellow and orange, although saying this you may decide on a more
suitable colour choice.
