Art . < 5 . th > 3 d
The 25 . th of June , the Sov . n Gr . d Council , shall be composed of all the Presidents of the Councils , particularly of Berlin and Paris , or their Representatives , to assist that day only , with their 2 first Gr . d Officers , who are the Minister of State , and the General of the Army , who shall only have the right to Propose , without having a deliberation vote .

Every 3 Years , on the 27 . th of Dec . r , the Sov . n Gr . d Council shall Nominate 16 officers viz t 2 Representatives of the Sub . te Gen . l , 2 Gr . d Officers , who are the Minister of State & Gen . l of the Army , one Keeper of the Seals & Archives , one Gr . d Orator , one Gr . d Sec . y Gen . l , one Sec . y for Berlin & Paris , one other Sec . y for the Country & Foreign Parts , one Gr . d Arch . t , one Gr . d Hospitaller & 7 Inspr . s , who Reunited together , under the Sov . n of Sovn . s , Prince President , or his Sub . te Gen . l , composing 18 in Number , to which , shall irrevocably Remain the Number fixed of Gr . d Officers of the Sov . n Gr . d Council of the Sublime Princes of the Royal Secret , who Cannot be chosen , but from among the Presidents of the Councils , particularly of those of Princes of Jerusalem , Regularly constituted in Berlin & Paris , and those Constituted by the Gr . d Insp . rs & their Deputies – and in case of Default , the Sov . n and the Sub . me Gr . d Council , shall make these Nominations in a Gr . d Council composed of at least of 18 President Princes .
Art . < 7 . th > 5 th
Each Prince Gr . d Officer or Depositary , of the Sov . n Gr . d Council , shall have a Patent of dignity , to which , he shall be nominated delivered to him , in which , shall be expressed , the duration of his Function , and countersign ’ d by all the Gr . d Officers , and those of the Gr . d Council of the Sub . me Princes of the Royal Secret , Crested and Sealed properly .
ARTICLE V .
On the 25 th of June , the Sov∴ Grand Council shall be composed of all the Presidents of the several Councils of Paris and Bordeaux , or of their Representatives , for that day only , with their two first Grand Officers , the Ministers of State and Generals of the Army , who have only the right to propose measures , but not to debate .
ARTICLE VI .
Every three years , on the 27 th of December , the Sovereign Grand Council shall elect 17 officers , to wit : two Representatives of the Lieutenant Commander ; two Grand Officers , who are the Grand Orator and the Grand General of the Army ; one Grand Keeper of the Seals and Archives ; one Secretary-General ; a Secretary for Paris and Bordeaux ; another Secretary for the Provinces and Foreign Countries ; a Grand Architect Engineer ; a Grand Hospitaller Physician ; and seven Inspectors , who shall meet under the orders of the Sovereign of the Sovereign Princes , or his Substitute General ; making 17 in all , at which shall remain irrevocably fixed the number of the Grand Officers of the Sovereign Grand Council of the Sublime Princes of the Royal Secret , who can be selected only from among the Presidents of the particular Councils of the Princes of Jerusalem regularly established at Paris and Bordeaux ; and upon failure of the Sovereign and the Sublime Grand Council to make the election , the Sovereign of the Sovereign Princes , or his Deputy-General , may , by virtue of his office , appoint the officers , in a Grand Council specially convoked , of at least 18 resident Princes of the particular Councils of the cities of Paris and Bordeaux .
ARTICLE VII .
Every Prince , Grand Officer , or Dignitary of the Sovereign Grand Council shall have a patent of the dignity to which he shall have been elected , in which shall be expressed the term for which he is elected , countersigned by all the Grand Officers , and by those of the Sovereign Grand Council of the Sublime Princes , and stamped and sealed .
