Jour de St-Jean-Baptiste . - Le lendemain de la St-Jean d ’ été la G . L . sera composée de tous les maîtres de LL . assistés , pour ce jour seulement , de leurs deux surveillants , qui n ’ auront que le droit de proposer , sans avoir voix délibérative .
Art . 4
Nomination des officiers . - Tous les 3 ans le jour de St- Jean d ’ hiver , la G . L . nommera par voix de scrutin , vingtcinq tant officiers que dignitaires , savoir deux représentants du substitut général , deux surveillants , un orateur , un secrétaire général , un secrétaire pour Paris , un secrétaire pour la province , un trésorier et un architecte , un garde des Sceaux , un aumônier , deux experts hospitaliers , six experts visiteurs , deux vice surveillants , un vice orateur , deux aides secrétaires , dont un pour Paris et l ’ autre pour la Province qui réunis sous les ordres du G . M . et de son substitut général composent le nombre de vingt-sept , auquel demeurera irrévocablement fixé le nombre des officiers et dignitaires de la Grande Loge , lesquels ne pourront être choisis que dans les Maitres des Loges régulièrement constituées , et faute par . la G . L . d ’ avoir fait ces nominations le G . M . ou son substitut général pourra les nommer d ’ office , dans une Loge assemblée composée au moins de vingt-sept maitres de Loges .
Art le 3 d –
The 25 th of June the Sovereign gr . d council shall be composed of all the presidents of the councils – particularly of Berlin and Paris , or their representatives to assist for that day only with their two first gr . d officers who are the Minister of State , and the general of the army , who shall only have the right to Propose & without having a deliberation vote –
Art le 4 th –
Every three years on the 27 th of December the Sovereign gr . d council shall Nominate 16 officers viz . t 2 representatives of the substitute general , 2 grand officers who are the ministers of State , and General of the army , one keeper of the seals & archives , one grand orator , one grand Secretary general , one secretary for Paris & Berlin , one other secretary for the country and other parts – one gr . d architect , one gr . d Hospitaller , and 7 Inspectors , who re-united together under the orders of the Sover . n of Sovereigns , Prince President or his Substitute general composing 18 in number , to which shall Irrevocably remain the number fixed of grand officers of the Sovereign grand council of the Sub . me Princes of the Royal Secret – who cannot be chosen but among the Presidents of the councils , Particular of those of Princes of Jerusalem , regularly constituted in Paris and Berlin , and those constituted by grand Inspectors and their deputies ; and in case of default of the Sovereign and the Sub . me gr . d council shall make these Nominations in a gr . d council composed at Least of 18 president Princes –

Brevets d ’ officiers . - Il sera délivré à chaque officier ou Dignitaire de la G . L . une patente de la dignité à laquelle il aura été nommé , laquelle désignera la durée de son exercice , et sera signée de tous les officiers et dignitaires de la G . L . timbrée et scellée .
Art le 5 th –
Each Prince gr . d officer or depositary of the Sovereign gr . d council , shall have a Patent deliver ’ d him of the dignity to which he shall be nominated , in which shall be Expressed the Duration of his Function , and countersigned by all the grand officers and those of the Sovereign grand council of the Sub . me Princes of the Royal Secret , crested and seal ’ d proper –
