Thank you for picking up the fall edition of Waypoint Insurance Risk & Business Magazine . I ’ d like to start first by expressing our gratitude for the invaluable support we ’ ve received from our clients and communities during these challenging times . It has really highlighted our appreciation of community as we have walked through the phases of this pandemic with you towards establishing a comfortable new normal for us all .

Slowly , we are transitioning our staff back from the work-from-home atmosphere into our regular offices . All of our 17 locations across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland are adhering to strict government protocols to maintain the health and safety of our staff and clientele . Doing our part to flatten the curve in the coming months remains our top priority as we work to maintain the service standards that Waypoint is known for as we move into Phase 3 of the pandemic .

Another emerging issue to consider as we move into the fall season is that of cybersecurity risk . A focal point of this fall edition will be the need for additional protection on both personal and business policies .
