Schools come in many shapes and sizes , from city and state schools to public charter schools . They all serve roles in society , and all of them have their own way of doing things . Paladin Career & Technical High School is one such school , aiming to provide a variety of support systems and individualized training and academic plans to help meet the needs of the students who attend . The students have individualized instructional models incorporating student support , topical seminars , workand project-based learning , experiential learning , and restorative practices .
Paladin was initially founded under the name Liberty High Charter School in the fall of 2003 , operating out of Northtown Mall . The focus , at the time , was providing an alternate curriculum to the one typically found in traditional classrooms . From there , the mission and school grew , eventually becoming Paladin Academy in 2009 , the name referencing the school being “ champions for a cause .” In 2011 , they remodeled their current location , doubling the size of the school . Finally , in 2014 , the name changed to Paladin Career & Technical High School with a mission to " nurture a learning community that empowers students in their pursuit of
