Matt Armon , the proud inheritor of a family legacy , stands at the wheel of Armon Decorating , a business that has thrived for generations . It all began with his great-grandfather , who started a modest painting business from the comfort of his own home . As time progressed , his son Ted joined him , and in 1945 , Ted officially established Armon Decorating in the quaint town of Blue Earth , Minnesota .
