Miller Insurance 125 th Anniversary Celebration Continues
Welcome to the fall edition of Risk & Business Magazine . We continue to mark our milestone 125th year in business and highlight some of the donations we have been able to make as part of our $ 125,000 anniversary celebrations .
The insurance industry has gone through truly unbelievable changes since we opened our doors in 1899 . Our founders could never have pictured a world where policies were quoted in an online portal and issued immediately to our client ’ s email address . A place where small family farms have evolved into large agricultural businesses shipping their products across the world . Even the risks that we insure against have changed . Technology , of course , has played a major role in that , but so too has the weather . The frequency and intensity of extreme weather events continues to change the types of coverage that we offer . Managing risk is becoming more difficult which makes engaging with the knowledge and expertise of a licensed insurance broker increasingly important .
One thing that has remained throughout this last century is our commitment to the communities that have put their trust in Miller Insurance . We appreciate that our customers chose to do business with us , and we want to honour that commitment by giving back . We have donated over $ 125,000 throughout our region , and we are excited to be able to support the work of some incredible organizations .
We also have been fortunate in always having a team of dedicated people at Miller Insurance . They care deeply about what they do and want to make a difference to the people they work with . That dedication is appreciated .
