elcome to the spring edition of the Lloyd Sadd Risk &
Business Magazine. When the Presidential reigns were
handed over twelve months ago, I was not anticipating the
magnitude of change I have seen in Alberta. This past year
has been a challenge for business leaders and we have all been
faced with making tough decisions as we have experienced new
levels of risk.
Our goal as a firm is to provide relevant insurance and risk
management education to assist you in making those business
decisions. This is the reason we take the time to publish and
distribute this magazine. We realize this magazine will not
change the economy, but we hope the knowledge you gain will
