ELECTRONIC REPORTING IN 2018 AND
BEYOND
OSHA’s final rule on electronic reporting
requires certain employers to submit
data from their injury and illness records
electronically. Affected establishments
must use the agency’s Injury Tracking
Application to submit information from
their OSHA 300A Forms. Originally, the
first reporting deadline was set for July 1,
2017, but after a series of delays, OSHA
extended the first reporting deadline to
Dec. 15, 2017. However, OSHA will accept
electronic reports until Dec. 31, 2017,
without imposing any penalties.
Deadline for employers to submit
