Why You Want to E. L. F. Your Business

Easy, Lucrative, & Fun

I started out as a dead-broke carpet cleaner living off credit cards and struggling year after year. I had been reading a number of books to teach myself how to become more successful, but I was still missing something. I needed an ability to communicate the value I delivered to people so they would hire me and pay me for my services.

All the conventional wisdom and knowledge about marketing I had learned in college never seemed to work. I quickly discovered that there were two ways to run any type of business. First, there was the traditional way that made running a business hard, annoying, lame, and frustrating, which I call a HALF business. Occasionally, a business could be hard, annoying, lucrative, and frustrating. But if you have to struggle and you’ re not enjoying your business, what’ s the point? Today, I run the highest-level marketing group in the world called Genius Network. It consists of some of the world’ s greatest business owners and entrepreneurs. However, I didn’ t start there.
Even if you’ re not in a service business or a carpet cleaning business, realize this: I had to figure out how to sell something nobody wanted to buy and turn that into an Easy, Lucrative & Fun business. Some people make excuses or say,“ You had it lucky.” To that I say try running a carpet cleaning business working twelve-, fourteen-, or sixteen-hour days in 120-degree weather in the middle of summer in Arizona while going deeply into debt with credit cards and trying to figure out how to make it all work. If I can figure out how to do this with carpet cleaning and you have something even remotely sexier or more exciting than a carpet cleaning business, then you can do it too.
In fact, think about what financial freedom means to you. Does that mean you would live in the home of your
