n an effort to provide even greater value to clients, Atlas
Insurance Agency will be entering the social media space
in full force this fall. Our social media platforms will
be used to highlight trending topics, provide helpful
statistics, deliver up-to-date insurance news, announce
employment opportunities and provide insights into our
corporate culture. We will also be using these platforms to
gather valuable feedback from clients and generate thoughtful
discussions about a range of insurance topics.
Based on an initial review of user engagement on our active
profile pages, we found that LinkedIn and Facebook are the best
forms of social media communication for our clients. Therefore,
we will start there with the hope of expanding to additional
social media sites in the future.
Our conscious push into building our social media presence
reflects our clients’ move online for all types of research and
information. A recent study found that 62 percent of Americans
get the majority of their news from social media, which only
reinforces the thought process behind our efforts. The Atlas
Insurance team is dedicated to delivering content that can help
clients best navigate the complex world of insurance.

A former intern with Atlas Insurance Agency, Slayde Omura
joined the agency as a Marketing Specialist. He is responsible for
administering agency and event marketing projects aligned with
the company’s overall marketing and business goals including
development and management of Atlas’ digital presence including
its social media presence. Omura is a graduate of the University of
Hawaii at Manoa where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance.
