MOVIE DAY
Once a year Atlas takes a half day
where we treat staff and agents to a
movie along with a gift card to enjoy
some snacks. Movie day is definitely
the most wonderful day of the year for
Atlas!
4TH OF JULY/BPTW EVENT
The OAC and HEART committees
partnered to celebrate this Fourth of July/
Best Places to Work (BPTW) event with
an Office Olympics and lunch. Three
departments went head-to-head to staple
papers, make paper airplanes and string
paper clips together. All employees were
gifted Atlas-branded trucker hats, and
lunch was catered by Natsunoya Tea
House.
SCAVENGER HUNT
At Atlas, we’re all in this together! As part
of the 2017 Wellness Bootcamp, a bunch
of us completed various scavenger hunt
challenges by taking group selfies/photos
at specific areas and performing particular
tasks around the downtown area as a team.

EASTER SCRAMBLED EGGS
It was Atlas’ first ever Easter Egg Scramble! Departments went
head-to-head and “scrambled” through dozens of cracked eggs
to put the matching pieces back together. Since the Healthy
Employees Achieve Results Together (HEART) Committee
partnered with the Office Activities Committee (OAC), staff
enjoyed a healthy option of fruits and green salad to go with the
yummy, but not so healthy(!), pizza.
HAWAII FOODBANK
Atlas Insurance Agency recently gathered and donated over
2,000 pounds of food to benefit the Hawaii Foodbank including
80 twenty-pound bags of rice! The staff at Atlas participated
in a friendly competition with its sister companies to benefit
this local charitable organization as part of our Summer Boot
Camp. Pictured here are just a handful of amazing Atlas staff that
contributed to help Hawaii’s families in need.
LEMONADE ALLEY
Atlas’ staff and some of their keiki participated in the Lemonade
Alley as the Beached Lemons team. Lemonade Alley teaches
children to be a “kid-preneur” by developing their very own
business plan to help raise money for a local charity of their choice
by selling lemonade and other products. The Beached Lemons
raised over $1,000 for Parents and Children Together (PACT)!
The Beached Lemons also received the award for Best Customer
Service and was the first runner-up overall in its division.
PACT KEIKI DAY
Atlas staff helped sell newspapers to fundraise for PACT Keiki Day
at downtown Tamarind Park and raised over $900 in just two
hours! As usual, Atlas made it an internal competition and the
Sales & Operations Department took the win!
