3. To get rid of the impacted dirt on your stair carpet, you may also use the brush
roller or attachment. This rips off any particles which may tear off the fabric of
your beautiful carpet.
4. If you are not yet satisfied with the vacuum, you may also use a stiff broom to
sweep anything that mars the beauty of your staircase. This is lightweight and
easy to use if you don't have much time in setting up your vacuum. Start
sweeping from the top down to the bottom to get best results in cleaning it up;
and also as well to maintain its grandeur.
5. You can also steam clean your carpet with a handheld hose attached on it. This
seeps out the dirt and grime dominating the fabric of your carpet. If you don't
have one at home, you can borrow or rent one from a neighbor. Yet investing on
one is much more convenient. It saves all the trouble and money if you have your
very own steam cleaner.
6. For best results of achieving a squeaky clean carpet in your staircase, do the
actual hand scrubbing in its fabric. Pull it out first on the stair and have it scrubbed
outdoors. Choose a cemented area near your home and begin the brushing and
scrubbing. Use a carpet shampoo. Pour a generous amount of it in a pail and mix it
with water. Wait until its bubbles get all foamed up then go on with the procedure.
To dry it off, you can use a soft absorbent towel or cloth. When it gets completely
dry, have it vacuumed once more for best results.
