Paralimpyc Games
Over 4,000 athletes are competing in the first edition of the South American Paralympic Games. The fight for places, which started in 2014, is still on and concludes shortly before the Games begin, when the official list of athletes will be confirmed.
More than 170 member nations of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) are expected to compete in the 2016 Rio Games. The official list of participants will be confirmed shortly before the Games begin, once the competition for places concludes.
