The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. Only 5% of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers. RBE attorneys selected for inclusion on the 2019 Super Lawyers list are James Riley, Bryce Bennett, John Egloff, Donald Smith, Laura Reed, Ryan Leitch, Anthony Jost, Kevin Tharp, and Jeffrey Fecht. Rising Stars attorneys are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
