Riley Bennett Egloff LLP Attorneys Participate in the Ask A Lawyer Program

October 11 , 2016 , RBE attorneys , John Egloff , Beth Green , Sarah MacGil Marr , Stephanie Chaudhary , Justin Sorrell , and Katie Cannon volunteered for the Indianapolis Bar Association ’ s biannual Ask a Lawyer event . RBE attorneys fielded calls in the Indianapolis Bar Association office and provided free legal advice to several community members in need . This one-day community event is sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Foundation , in cooperation with the Indianapolis Public Library .
The Ask A Lawyer program is a one-day community event which is sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Foundation , in cooperation with the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library and Indianapolis Public Schools .
Through the Ask a Lawyer program , attorneys reach out into the community to provide both knowledge and compassion . During each Ask a Lawyer event , nearly 100 Indianapolis Bar Association member attorneys go to various Indianapolis Public Library
branches and other community sites to provide free legal advice to community residents . Anyone with legal questions can meet with a lawyer and have their questions answered . The topics of discussion range from domestic matters and landlord / tenant issues to probate questions . Volunteers are provided with informational packets designed to guide them through many common questions and issues that have arisen throughout the years . In addition , volunteers are given contact information for other organizations that may provide additional assistance and representation to those in need .
