Development Site
The site is highly constrained due to flood zone encroachment , flooding from run off and river overflow , sink holes , and large amounts of elevational changes . However , it is also within a close proximity of scarce developments within the Clay County area .
River and Flooding
The river on the site is an important design feature and a great constraint . The Flooding that comes from the river is dangerous for any construction project , however , the river and its water play an important symbolic role for the mountain communities . The topography of the terrain will become a key design element .
