ESQUEMA MENTAL DE DOCENETES SOBRE EL PSICOLOGO ESCOLAR EN
ESCUELAS PÚBLICAS

RESUMEN
Se llevó a cabo un estudio exploratorio descriptivo con el objetivo de obtener el esquema
representacional que tienen directivos, maestros de grupo y maestros de apoyo de
escuelas públicas sobre el psicólogo escolar en una ciudad al norte de México.
Participaron 218 sujetos, es una muestra por conveniencia, el instrumento utilizado fue el
software SemNet, el cual fue habilitado con los resultados de los sujetos participantes
obtenidos en redes semánticas naturales. A partir de lo anterior, se realizaron las
simulaciones computacionales conexionista de Rumelhart y Pathfinder y los resultados
obtenidos son los siguientes: el análisis de concurrencia, desde el punto de vista cognitivo,
nos indica que maestros y directivos tienen un esquema representacional sobre el
psicólogo como un profesional muy necesario en la institución puesto que, por una parte,
diagnostica los fenómenos educativos y orienta a la comunidad escolar, pero por otra,
consideran que puede juzgar y/o criticar a las personas.
ABSTRACT
A descriptive exploratory study took place with the aim to obtaining the representational
scheme of school authorities, teachers, and support teachers on public schools about the
school psychologist in a city north of Mexico. There were 218 persons, who participated in
a convenience sample; the instrument used was the SemNet software, which was enabled
with the participants’ results obtained in natural semantic networks. From above
information, were conducted connectionist computer simulations from Rumelhart and
Pathfinder and the results obtained are as follows: concurrency analysis, from the cognitive
point of view, indicates that teachers and school authorities have a representational
scheme upon psychologist as an expert very necessary in the institution; since on one
side, diagnose the educational phenomena and guide the school community, on the other
hand, consider that he can judge or criticize people.
