QSEC'S HORSE HOME SHOW

Main Arena

The inaugural QSEC Horse Home Show at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre,

Caboolture will be held on Saturday 8 February 2014. Gates open 8am and the event will run through to 7pm. The line-up for the day will feature an integrated, multidiscipline program focusing on the RIDER, the HORSE, TRAINING & PERFORMANCE.

Kick start the season with training tips, new products and the very best advice from some of

the country’s leading equestrian professionals. Plus more amazing shopping than you can

poke a whip at! From farriers to farm supplies, feed to floats - special show offers on

everything you need for you and your horse.

BIOSECURITY WORKSHOP

QSEC and Equestrian Queensland invite you to prepare for the equestrian season by participating in a biosecurity planning workshop to be held at QSEC on 22 February, 2014.The workshop will cover topics including what is biosecurity, what are your responsibilities to your workers and volunteers, how to prevent a biosecurity incident and what to do should an

incident occur.The workshop will include presentations by Trish Coward from Workplace

Health and Safety, Fiona Thompson, Alison Crook and Janet Hull from Biosecurity

Queensland and Mandy Finnimore, a private veterinarian well known to the equestrian community through her roles with EQ, Equine Influenza and the EA Hendra Virus Advisory Committee.Refreshments will be provided.There is no charge for this workshop however

spots are limited.
