Do Rey Me is a story of people who had the foresight to believe, not only in the cutting industry, but in their judgement of where the industry was heading. This belief combined with the genetics required to breed champions produced Do Rey Me, a sire who commands attention.
Do Rey Me was bred by Greg Jolly and Graham and Lynn White. He is from the untried mare, Spin and Susie, a mare who promised so much but was untried due to injury. Spin and Susie was joined to a new and exciting young American sire, Dual Rey. The resultant colt foal, Do Rey Me was offered for sale at the NCHA Futurity Sale in 2005 as a led yearling.
Do Rey Me’s grandmother was the mother of the legendary Doc’s Oak. This bloodline presented an opportunity seldom seen in Australia and when combined with the sire, Dual Rey, the colt represented an outstanding opportunity in genetics.
Do Rey Me had a successful career in the cutting pen throughout his Aged career before showing huge potential in his only season Campdrafting. His first progeny are highly sought after in the sales ring and a big future is ahead of him as a sire.
