Message from the Mayor Welcome from the Chair
On behalf of Council, I am delighted to extend greetings to all
readers of the 2017 Richmond Hill Board of Trade Business
Directory. Richmond Hill is fortunate to have a strong and vibrant
Organization that is proud to include many members who have been
recognized with local business achievement awards and in more
recent years, recognition from the Ontario Chamber of Commerce,
as well. Membership in the Richmond Hill Board of Trade (RHBOT)
has many benefits. In addition to the Annual Richmond Hill
Business Awards that recognizes excellence in several categories,
monthly events are held that include expert speakers, education
programs, monitoring of and liaising with all levels of government,
group insurance programs, an annual golf tournament and perhaps
best of all, excellent opportunities to network with peers, existing
and prospective clients, and elected government representatives.
I have personally had the honour of being President of the
Chamber, as it was known then, on two separate occasions and
have seen firsthand the benefits that membership provides. I
would recommend that any business, whether large or small,
consider joining the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, as an excellent
working relationship - a partnership - between Richmond Hill and
the RHBOT exists, serving our mutual goal of maintaining a solid
business foundation in and for our community. I truly believe
membership to be a wise business decision and a good investment.
Council is very appreciative of the vital role business plays in the
economic wellbeing of the Town. I want to thank the Richmond
Hill Board of Trade for the important contribution both it and its
members make to the success and vitality of our community. The Richmond Hill Board of Trade was established to enhance
Richmond Hill’s business community by playing an important role
serving and representing issues in all sectors in our community.
Our diverse and active membership is comprised of businesses
ranging in size and service. By providing a wealth of services
from Accounting and Bookkeeping Services to Wine Making—
and everything in between—Richmond Hill has whatever service
you need right in your backyard. Our community is known for
its innovation and vibrancy, from our family-run businesses to
our globally-re nowned industry leaders. Our community is home
to leaders in all sectors. Dynamic manufacturing, healthcare,
information, and finance sectors make Richmond Hill a one-stop-
shop for established industries. From start-ups to transitional
corporations, Richmond Hill’s business community is uniquely
qualified to service any need. Our highly-skilled workforce and
business-friendly environment make this the perfect place to
conduct business. As the Voice of Business in Richmond Hill, the
RHBOT works on behalf of its members to provide services, access
to information and resources, and representation in all levels of
government. We are proud to represent one of the best business
communities in the country and work hard to continue its growth.
The 2017-2018 RHBOT Business Directory is a guide to the host of
businesses and services that make our community a national leader
in growth, innovation, and customer service. The Directory is just
one of the many services we provide on behalf of our members as
