ROOFING RICHARDSON ROOFING
with architects and other key contractors
to provide expert input and advice wherev-
er possible. This is handled by the organ-
isation’s very own technical department
and allows for the organisation to offer a
service which goes far above and beyond
the traditional roofing subcontractor.
Richardson Roofing’s technical de-
partment maintains a fully in-house de-
sign service as a by-product of the lev-
el of expertise maintained in the team,
allowing for the organisation to work far
more effectively with both its own sup-
ply chain and the client in developing
bespoke, tailor-made solutions. This has
also allowed for the organisation to cre-
ate value-added benefits across a num-
ber of projects through the insertion of
expertise into the design on the grounds
of either improving the end product or
being able to deliver the same outcome
in a more efficient way.
Naturally, this focus on design and the
provision of a more technical service has
allowed for the company to also devel-
op a reputation as something of a prob-
lem-solver in the industry. Keen to tackle
challenging projects, Richardson Roof-
ing tackles many of the projects which
other key competitors are reluctant or
find difficult to approach, with George
Richardson, Chairman and Co-Founder
of Richardson Roofing commenting: “Our
comparative advantage is on complex,
difficult projects where clients need the
assurance of someone who has a track
record and the capabilities of overcom-
ing various difficulties that may be pres-
ent within the design.”
