Wayne State University linebacker Ed
Viverette ’09 received his first GLIAC
Defensive Player of the Week award on
Sept. 16 after an impressive performance
against Ashland where he finished with
nine tackles, 3.5 sacks and a fumble return
for a touchdown. In his time at Wayne
State, Ed participated in the 2011 national
championship game and is currently a
criminal justice major.
pAfter living in Philadelphia for four years,
Matthew Studenski ’01 accepted a faculty
position at the University of Miami, Florida
in the department of Radiation Oncology
where he has been working as a Medical
