Field Day
On Friday, October 11th, Brother Rice students competed in the 10th Anniversary of the return of Field Day. Competition
between the 6 Brother Rice Bands was highlighted by some perennial favorite events including: Air Force Football, Ultimate
Frisbee, Texas Hold’Em, Capture the Flag, Floor Hockey, Basketball, and Dodge Ball. Excitement surrounded the addition of a
few new events: Pokémon Challenge, Handball, and Freshmen/Sophomore Basketball.
It was a close finish with St. Leo finishing in 1st; St Sebastian in 2nd, edging out St. Padre Pio by just 2 points.
Graduation
On May 19th, family, friends, members
of the Board of Directors and Brother
Rice staff gathered at St. Regis Church
to celebrate the Commencement
Exercises for the 50th graduating
class. The class of 2013 graduated and
recognized 161 students. Master of
Ceremonies Brother Michael Segvich,
CFC honored the co-valedictorians
Michael Cooney ’13 and Alexander
Dennis ’13 and presented them with
the General Excellence Award.
