The new requirements for ECON and MTEC majors are listed above, with the numbers of the courses from the 2014–2015 General Announcements that will satisfy these requirements listed in parentheses.
Note that the new majors are fairly structured with numerous pre-requisites and will thus require careful planning. Please feel free to obtain scheduling assistance from the members of the department undergraduate committee. Our website document “Sample Schedules for ECON and MTEC Majors” should also be helpful. To facilitate scheduling, the department will make every effort to offer all required courses each semester (with the exception of the two MTEC capstone courses, which will be offered once each year).
