HCPA is affiliated with NALA which regulates the certification process and sets ethical standards for the profes- sion. In addition to the CLE luncheons, HCPA also provides the following to its members: Networking opportunities among peers; Encourages a high order of ethical and professional attainment; Advocates for full utilization of the paralegal as a valued team partner in servicing the legal needs of government and/or cor- porate entities; Provides a voice for its members on the issues facing the parale- gal profession; Cooperates with bar associations; Supports and carries out the programs, purposes, aims and goals of the National Association of Legal As- sistants, Inc.; Establishes good fellowship among Association members, the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. and members of the legal community; and Access to sought after legal resources.
