Segment I-2 Update
Major activities within Segment I-2 include:
Construction of FM 1405 bridge (photo)
Frontage road construction on B146 in Baytown. This summer, traffic in the area will be switched to the
frontage roads while crews begin construction of the SH-99 main lanes.
Preparation for bridge construction over IH-10. This work, which will impact traffic, is tentatively sched-
uled to take place within the next few months.
Traffic modifications will take place on 146B near Goose Lake and Bayland Marina. The modifications are
needed to allow for crews to work on SH-99 main lanes, frontage roads, utilities, and bridge.
All traffic impacts associated with the Grand Parkway project are updated on a weekly basis on
