SH-99 Grand Parkway Update
Over the past few months, our crews have
made great progress in all segments within the
project scope. With the spring time weather
now here, we are looking forward to taking
advantage of the weather conditions and day
light, to achieve some exciting milestones. Be-
low you will find construction updates on seg-
ments H, I-1, and I-2. With the team expected
to perform bridge construction over IH-59/69
and IH-10 over the coming months, please
consider encouraging family, friends, and co-workers
to sign up to receive traffic alerts from the Grand Park-
way Infrastructure team .
Segment I-1 Update
Major activities within Segment I-1 include:
Crews recently mobilized to FM 1960 in Dayton to begin work in the area, including the construction
of bridge columns. Activity where SH-99 will cross FM 1960 will continue to increase over the coming
months. (photo)
Continuation of bridge construction over FM 1413. Some activities may require periodic road closures
for crews to perform their work safely.
The team has also mobilized to US-90 over the past few weeks to begin preparation for bridge work in
the area. Lane reductions near this crossing are in place.
