FASHION

Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm a fashion blogger who love making others feel good about themselves. and hope to instill confidence in women through my platforms.

Where did your love for fashion originate from?

My love for fashion started in high school when we didn't have the funds to get the clothing I wanted so I made alterations to existing items I've had and realised that I'm pretty good at it. I vowed that one day I'll inspire others to be themselves through their sense of style the same way I do.

How do you set yourself apart from other fashionistas? What makes you different?I have my own style, I don't follow trends, I invent/set my own. I also aim to keep my shoots as natural as possible and ensure that no heavy editing takes place as I want to look on pictures as I do in real life. I also strive to inspire and motivate other women with the captions I add to my pictures on social media

.

Where do you draw your inspiration from in terms of styling?

My inspiration depends on my mood but I always strive to instill confidence in women woth my look. I want them to realise that they can have their own style and look absolutely amazing while expressing themselves. My granny always told me that I'd be able to do that through the way I dress and I understand now what she meant.

Why did you decide to venture into blogging and what has the experience been like thus far?

I've done a shoot with Ofentse from ORPhotography SA and it received really good feedback. I realised it's something I'd be able to do and I enjoy it a lot.

Your IG account is very inspirational, why did you decide on that route?

My boyfriend always believed in me and suggested that it would be the best way to grow my brand. He bought a camera to assist me and the rest is history. I love and appreciate him so much for his unwavering support.

How important is it to stay true to yourself in an industry where people often copy celebrities?

t is important to stay true to who you are and not get lost in trying to be someone else. Remain humble and show your appreciation to those that support you. I've been compared to Rita Ora a lot and I express my gratitude for that but I don't strive to be her, I'm me and I'm content with that.

What advice do you have for others that would like to venture into this industry?

Start now! Follow your heart, don't give up,work hard and remain humble. Don't compare yourself to others as it would lead to self-doubt. You are enough to become anything you put your mind to.
