UOI 5K Committee presents Make A Wish MA/RI with $20,000
donation
UOI makes great strides
in the office and the
community
This year’s 5K has been renamed the Mark Palumbo
Memorial 5K in honor of the beloved spine surgeon
who passed away in 2019. Dr. Palumbo was a longtime
supporter of the Tomorrow Fund and money
raised from this year’s event will support this
important local organization. Last August University
Orthopedics hosted their 22nd free fall sports
exam day. It was the largest event yet with more
than 250 exams performed in East Providence and
Middletown.
