Congratulations to Rhode Island Monthly’s Top Doctors 2020 from your PA
colleagues with the Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants (RIAPA)!
Rhode Island’s PAs are proud to be members of
today’s healthcare team, working collaboratively
with physicians and other healthcare providers to
expand access to care for patients throughout our
state.
Today, more than 600 PAs in R.I. serve in every
medical setting and specialty – diagnosing illness,
developing and managing treatment plans, and
prescribing medications. On the national level, the
PA profession is growing, and our state’s two PA
programs at Bryant University and Johnson & Wales
University are ensuring the next generation of PAs
are ready to address the healthcare needs in our
state.
As the healthcare system continues to evolve, RIAPA
is committed to doing our part to give patients our
very best. Through advocacy and education, we are
empowering PAs to practice at the fullest extent of
our education and training.
