Easter Egg Roll
and Hunt
WHY: Put on your favorite dress or sweater and
hop over to Ocean House for the annual Easter
Egg Roll and Hunt. The East Lawn buzzes with
excitement as kiddos of all ages race to the finish
line, collecting treasures and treats along the way.
The morning also includes a special appearance
by the Easter Bunny for pictures. WHERE: Ocean

“Providence Stories” Planetarium Show
WHY: See the Capital City through an artistic lens at the WHY: Look up every once in a while or head to the Museum
of Natural History’s dome theater. The Zeiss projector casts
images of stars, planets and constellations to simulate the
wonders of a starry night sky. It costs $3 per person to view
a planetarium show, but the price also includes admission to
the museum for further exploration. Shows last about thirty-five
minutes and children younger than four are not permitted in
the planetarium. WHERE: Museum of Natural History, 1000

Providence Art Club. Husband and wife duo, Audrey and Tom
Monahan, alongside Myron Taplin, showcase their visions
through different mediums in the “Providence Stories” exhibit
in the Maxwell Mays Gallery. Audrey portrays stunning
photography of downtown buildings from the city’s architectural
golden era, and Tom depicts little-known tales from the Provi-
dence’s past through paintings. The opening reception is April 19
