1. Know exactly who your Ideal Customer is (it’s not “everybody who” or “anybody who”)

2. Know the problem they have and they want that problem to go away (not the problem, you the expert, know they have but your Ideal Customer doesn’t know)

3. Remember your business success is driven by conversations—marketing and sales conversations—centered on what your Ideal Customer is seeking (the removal of their problem); they care about themselves.

~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?

SHINE to me means you stand out from the noisy in your market, and there’s a LOT of noise these days. And that noise is growing louder and louder. So it’s hard for you to be seen, heard and acted upon.

To SHINE build and focus your business on your Ideal Customer. Talk about the problem they know they have and want to be rid of. Use their language when you talk/write. They will be able to heard their language above the din of the market noise. AND, we can promise you when you do this, you’ll be one of the few. Check out your competition. We’re willing to bet they are busy talking about themselves and their products.

You’ll SHINE and stand out. Your competition will meld into the blah, blah, blah noise of your market.

~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers ?

People will tell you being in business is hard. Well, it doesn’t have to be. Take the junk out of your business—the busy work, office housekeeping and unproductive stuff.

Have a plan and follow it. Make sure that plan is created with your customer as the centerpiece. Then execute the plan…and if you don’t know what to eliminate, how to plan or what will create an easier, simpler, more profitable business for you, we do. It’s our Super Power, what we do every day.
