discovering in your book:

Readers can expect a journey throughout the world, learning about people and places they only knew about in travel brochures. Science, service and adventure converge on H2OpenDoors expeditions transforming the lives of both the recipients and partners in the developing world but the donors and participants as well.

~What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader today to help them step forward in their life powerfully?

I would strongly suggest that after reading the book they seek out a local chapter of a major service organization. I’m partial to Rotary, but there are others like Lions and Kiwanis. These organizations fill the gaps left by government and religion. Working internationally and in your local community, you will tap into a “power pack of passion” that can enable you to do truly big things on the planet.

~Will you share a client success story?

Every member of a women’s water council in any village we work in sees the lives of women transformed when they are released from the day-long chores of gathering safe water. When they establish an enterprise, significant money is raised to fund nutritional programs, college scholarships, classroom expansions and more.

~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?

As previously mentioned, join a service organization that also works internationally. For personal development, I am fond of Toastmasters. The powerful practice of speaking is really a means to greater confidence. You’ll meet like-minded individuals near you who will give you encouragement and feedback for improvement.

~How can people connect with you and follow you?

Our website, www.H2OpenDoors.org, carries content and announcements of projects and upcoming expeditions. You can also follow the project at www.Facebook.com/H2OpenDoors.

~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today?

We like to point out that some of the most vexing problems in the world today can be solved with just a little technology… and a whole lot of soul.
