I was speaking for a large group of IT leaders at a fortune 100 financial company. I led the group in discovering their strengths and shared with them, team building secrets they could use immediately. One of the members of the group confided in me that one of her teams might lose their jobs. I shared with her ways to make her team valuable and viable to the organization. I discovered a couple of months later that not only did her team take my advice and become stronger in their positions but it led them to receive many more projects, and they are still vibrant and powerful in the organization today.
