therapy is based on wrong interpretation of the science.

~What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader today to help them step forward in their life powerfully?

1. Keep learning.

2. Advocate for yourself with your doctors.

3. Manage your expectations – taking care of your body is a lifetime project!

~Will you share a client success story?

Karen came to me when she was fifty-two. A professional woman with a rewarding career, grown kids, and a fulfilling intimate relationship, she wanted to address her perimenopausal symptoms that were not terrible, but still making her feel “off.” Mild hot flashes and sleep disruption were lowering her energy level and giving her some

headaches. We started her at first with some testosterone, adding some progesterone later, and finally a low dose of estrogen (all bioidentical, of course). Most recently, she has been enjoying her work, her relationship, her exciting travel, and her family. She is feeling GREAT.

~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?

Reject the idea of “just”, like when a doctor tells you that you are “just” getting older and you “just” have to accept feeling worse than when you were younger. We are meant to shine more brightly as we go through life and gain experience and wisdom.

~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today?

Getting older is a privilege; feeling old is optional.
