~Share something you are passionate about:
I am passionate about helping people break free from overwhelm, confusion, limiting beliefs or chronic pain that is preventing them from living the life they are meant to live. Many people are living in a box that was set as expectations by others. I help to break free from this chain so that they can stand in their truth thus stand in their power and gain courage to be the gift they are supposed to be in the world.
~What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?
The first way is by giving inspirational talks globally at corporations, women’s conferences, entrepreneur conferences, wellness conferences, schools, and universities. I contribute articles to international magazines and newspapers. I also provide one on coaching, group coaching and workshops to help reboot, recharge an individual's life in holistic manner so that they can create the life they were meant to have.
The second way is by helping people get their messages in their heart out as a best-selling author through anthologies, solo books, and podcasts.
The third way is through my books that I have co-authored, The Authorities, with New York Times Best Selling authors Dr. John Gray, from “Men are from Mars Women are from Venus” where I share my transformation from being in chronic pain & bedridden to a successful entrepreneur. My mission is to teach others that it is possible to do the same.
? The Undiscussables of Culture:
Culture has become a very important element in 21st century education. One of the reasons is the influx of immigrants we have here in America. I work with a high student population of Hispanics. Some undiscussables of culture in this population include undocumented status, socioeconomic conditions, linguistic barriers, and others. As professional educators, it is important to engage in dialogue of sensitive issues if we are to ensure immigrant students are provided a fair and appropriate public education.
