~Will you share a client success story?

As a volunteer for non-profit organizations, I built relationships with the community by providing assistance to families. Recently I have been approached by a few of these mothers, thanking me for helping them at a time they felt lost, and for giving them hope of a wonderful and happy future.

~What are a few tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?

1. Down syndrome isn’t anything to fear. The fear comes from the unknown.

2. By seeing those who are differently abled as people first and their diagnosis second, you will be able to relate to them in a compassionate and personable way.

3-Individuals who are differently abled are deserving of equal opportunities. With patience and faith, they can accomplish whatever they set out to do; it may just take a little longer for them to learn.

~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today?

My dream when I was a child was to become a kindergarten teacher when I grew up. Despite never becoming a teacher myself, I did give birth to one. My son and those like him teach us the best and most important life lessons on compassion, forgiveness, patience, and unconditional love.
