Learning through experience within an outdoor community provides an opportunity for the next generation to figure out who they are, separate and apart from the noise. Within an intentional, safe environment, even the most alienated kids can develop social, emotional, and communication skills that will amplify

their connectedness, and independence.

When kids recognize that they can do hard

things, provide value to the group, and rely

on others, the course of their life can

change.

Go outside :)

I mentor several spinal cord injured individuals across the globe every year.

I played a crucial role in the development and implementation of Activity Based Therapy (ABRT) which became rehabilitation standard of care for quadriplegics, paraplegic and stroke patients.

I developed and patented the new phase of the currant Functional Electrical Stimulation. (FES) is now standard of care for individuals dealing with paralysis.

I mentor several spinal cord injured individuals across the globe every year.
