On a cold winter night in Minnesota, I was twenty-two years old, at a party. Feeling helpless, sleeping on my friend’s couch, with no car, and newly laid off. With no life skills, feeling trapped, my future unknown, I knew I needed a change.
At the party, my friend Nancy announces that she’s moving to California. She was going to drive cross country with Bob, her friend who was a truck driver. “I’m going to California, does anyone want to come with me?” I don’t know if she was drunk or serious, but I quickly said yes! A month later I found myself in a truck with Bob and Nancy on our way to California. Our one stop along the route was at Bob’s “best friend” Susie’s house. At 5am one morning we pulled up to Susie’s house, which turned out to be the Mustang Bunny Ranch in Nevada! We were not invited in!
By the time we reached California I had depleted the $75 I’d left Minnesota with. I had one suitcase filled with everything I owned and a temporary home on Nancy’s friends’ couch. It was time to take action and make some money. I quickly found three part time jobs. I was soon making enough money for us to move off the couch and into a new apartment filled with young professionals who loved to party. It was like living in a sorority house!
Saying yes, using my intuition and taking action led me to California, a place of freedom and opportunities. In Minnesota I felt helpless, stifled, and obligated to take care of my siblings. In California I felt expansive, empowered and energized. If I had said no or hesitated, I wouldn’t have created my current life, family and business.
Several failed businesses and relationships led me to discover energy and the keys to manifesting. The first step is to trust your intuition. The second step is to clear your mind of the mental distractions of your subconscious. The last step is to open your heart and raise your energetic frequency.

Knowing when to say no and yes comes from trusting our intuition. Positive healthy choices come from listening to the messages that come from that powerful telepathic antenna within each of us.
