1. Choose to be grateful. It might not change what’s going on in your life, but it always helps to focus on the good.
2. Honor your emotions. Allow yourself the space to feel all the emotions that are coming up. Don’t ignore intense feelings or pretend everything is ok when it’s not.
3. Don’t give up on yourself. Be open to try new things that might help you heal. You never know what will be the most effective until you give it a try.
~Will you share a client success story?
One of the women I have mentored was angry about where her life was and where it was going. As I taught her to recognize and shift through her emotions, she is learning to be
more gentle with herself, finding self love and trust. She has been able to see some lightness in her circumstances as she continues to wade through the darkness. She has gained tools to help her through the hard moments and navigate through her brokenness to feel whole again.
~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our readers today to empower them to SHINE?
There is beauty in your journey. Even if your life is hard, look for the little windows of hope and let those moments lift you. I know that things can be difficult, but focus on what you CAN do, and try to give yourself grace for the things you aren’t able to do. Trust yourself, be open to new ideas and know that healing is possible.

I want others to be inspired to start where they are, loving themselves where they are at is a good place to start.
