Ashley Murphy’s biography
She was born with parents who couldn’t take care of her, she was fighting for her life at just 6 months old. She was born with HIV positive, which later turned into AIDS. She was put in foster care and her foster parents told her that she just had a few weeks to live. But after taking Ashley home, her health improved. Today, Ashley is a happy and joyful 16 year old. She has 9 siblings who are fostered or adopted and have special needs just like her. Her story has inspired many others with HIV, with the message saying that we can overcome our challenges and we can use them to help others. Our weaknesses can turn into strengths. We can overcome our challenges and we can use them to help others. We shouldn’t be embarrassed by what makes us unique, we should rock our differences. Own them, and be you.
