Meti and I went to Autumn House on March 19, 2016 to do our Charity Bake Sale. We stayed there from 1 pm to 3 pm. We went to Walmart snd Robins to buy cupcakes, muffins, brownies, donuts, juice, frosting, sprinkles, macaroons, etc. We spent $65 buying the items. It was expensive but this went to a great cause, so it was alright for us. proceeds went to Winnipeg Harvest. We made a lot of money and someone donated around $57. She first gave us this small jar of coins and said it was a little bit of change, but turned out to be $57! She was very generous and that helped us out a lot. The next day we went to Arlington Haus and did the same thing. At the end of the day, we earned around $174! It was a fun and exciting experience selling things, because it went to a great cause, and because I've always wanted to do a bake sale. Meti and I made a difference, even in a small way, and we felt happy and proud of ourselves. 😀
